“Insignificant Celluloid” took home medals for best comedy picture and indie auteur (writer/director Blake Fitzpatrick) at The Barebones International Independent Film Festival this year, congratulations to the cast and crew! The comedy film category had the most films nominated in it this year and the cast/crew are all humbly grateful for the accolades!

“Insignificant Celluloid” garnered three nominations at this years Barebones International Independent Film Festival, Best Actor(Seth Correa) Best Comedy, and Indie Auteur of the Year (Blake Fitzpatrick.) The film plays at 9:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 30th at the 2011 Barebones International Independent Film Festival. Tickets are on sale now.

Production has wrapped on the feature film “Insignificant Celluloid.” When asked about his thoughts writer/director Blake Fitzpatrick had this to say on the set of the films final shoot: “Filming such intimate fables in such familiar settings has brought back more memories than I ever
could have possibly imagined. It has been one interesting journey and I’m excited to share it with the world. I hope those who are familiar with the tales enjoy seeing them as much as I have recreating them once again for the film.”
The feature film “Insignificant Celluloid” will be hitting the festival circuit next year.
